Soon to be a Mommy of Two

Well this post took almost 9 months to come as I am soon to be a mother of two kids.
I conceived with my second baby last year in August 2012 and in three weeks from now is my DUE DATE.
Pregnancy and a growing child took me through a toll and that's the reason that I couldn't update my blog. But its never too late....

My second pregnancy was not an easy one like my first one. This time I had it all... nausea (but i never puked), swelling of feet and sleepless and uncomfortable nights. I even got allergic to a medicine salt Ornidazole that is present in most of the dysentery medicines like metrogyl and O2. The salt gave me a swollen and bruised lip and palate (With Pus formation). 
One thing that I did unlike last time was that I started visiting my doctor in March End when my eights month was about to end. I followed the prescriptions / tests and medication as per my first child's.
And it worked and saved us a lot of money...

About Abeer he has started speaking now... not fluently, as in he doesn't cook stories but yes he expresses everything in words... He speaks very good english but broken hindi. and sometime mix of both.
He has developed a habit of saying everything in Hindi as well as english... like
Mummy I Want Dodo Milk Horlicks
Khana hai Eat
Nini coming Sleeping
Maani Water
Gahr aagai Home aagai  etc

He is now potty trained (I trained him in 15 days in January2013 ) He tells me whenever he has to go for poo poo but soo soo he does on his own.

He has also started telling his long list of wants on phone to his papa and mausi. Sentence that he frames is ' Papa get get get get, chuttki, raju, kitkat, toffee get it okay!

Other sentences that he speaks is and i find very funny are
Every-time he sits on potty seat he says... 'Mummy I will FAAL'... and next he says 'hold it' (and holds the seat from sides)
When he is doing poo poo he keeps telling me ;Mummy Poo Poo Coving and Soo Soo Coving' (Coming)
And when he is done he says 'mummy wash,  poo poo done'

When he asks for a toy or something I tell him we will go and buy it or papa will buy and get it... so now he tells me... Mummy I want Thomas Engine... I well go buy okay !

He keeps giving injections to us and his toys and thn says don't cry don't cry... I am Fam (He means its fine or you will be fine)

He says Aabu Hurt put pepecine (Medicine) and when i say ok I will get it... he does foo foo and says I am Fam

He loves Mustache Thanks to Dabangg, Singham and Rowdy Rathor... and wants one all the time with my kajal.

Things he knows - 
All the finger names
Fruits
Colours
Shapes (Even the difficult ones like... hexagone, pentagone, semi circle, diamond, heart, cloud, cross etc)
Animals
Hot and Cold
He is very sharp with remembering things... remembers everything in order...
He says A for Apple, B for banana, C for Cat, D for Dog and after this D for Elephant, D for fish, D for gun and so on.... he remembers all the objects in order it is just that the "D for" remains.
He knows counting in hindi and english from 1 - 10
He acts like Angry bird all the time with frowned eyes...
and recites so many movie Dialogues (specially Khiladi 786).

Soon I will be back with my new little baby updates and Abeer and little baby's bonding as siblings.

My Preschooler

Abeer is 2 years old now and has started keeping all the more occupied. He still doesn't speak... but sings the TELETUBBIES SONG tinki winky, dipsy, lala, po (HIS VERSION - ticky wicky, sisi, aa aa, peh) and Bheem Bheem ( His Version - Beem beem beem).
When we ask him to say jai hind he puts a finger in the centre of his head... his style of saying jai hind.
Imitates dances on various songs, like bharat mata ki jai, bol bol bachchan, chalao na naino, title taitanic ( jhall wallah) also does majhi satkel.

He knows how to start a laptop, AC and TV.  Recently he has learnt to touch feet.

Today was his first day to school... 2nd July 2012. We slept late at night so he was little drowsy and sleepy all the day at school. but it was fun... its really good to see him growing and becoming more and more cute.

1 Year and Nine Months Old

Abeer is a big boy now... though he still doesn't speak but expresses himself very well. The list of few words he say are... ba bye, Chicken Tikkkaa, mumum, takajhum. He has gone very smart now... he knows ahen is breaks a toy or a glass... and hence stands still at that place with his head and eyes down. He is a great actor too... :)

he loves small kids... and is never shy to go to them and shake hands or kiss them.... He loves to be amongst kids... Now i am waiting for few months to pass so that we can get him in a play school. I want him to learn few things now... as due to my work from home setup i am unable to devote dedicated time to him to teach him something. Life is so beautiful with him and yes he now does a kissi with a UMMMMA sound... and dances too. He is a big FAN of Salman Khan and loves to see his movies... his at present fav r Dabang, Ready, Bodygaurd and Singham. He cant resist himself from smiling when we recite "Mujhpe Ek Ehsaan Karna Ki Mujh Pe Koi Ehsaan Na Karna".... I love you my little Toddler...

1 Year Month Two and Three

I am little late this time (almost two months) as I have taken-up a work- from- home job and now my little AB and my work keep me fully occupied all day long. About my son he has grown up drastically in past two months. My cute little quiet spectator now expresses almost everything. Unwillingness to eat - by closing his eye and mouth tight, pointing at things he wants, fake crying with hands on his eyes, and smiling when we scold him to pretend that every thing is fine....
He can now open a bottle cover (in fact it keeps him busy for hours), he has learnt putting rings in the ring tower, he enjoys riding on his rider and loves to play with push and pull toys. He has also learnt walking backwards and don't know why but loves to crawl  with his eyes shut.
He hasn't learnt potty training as yet but we have drastically reduced on his diaper usage. He sleeps now without diaper at night and doesn't pee on the bed. Every morning all i have to do is make sure that he is out of bed as soon as he opens his eyes and take him to the bathroom.

His other small and cute gestures make us go on a laughing spree. All we are left wondering is where he learns all this. HE IS JUST SOOOOOO CUTE.

One Year and One Month

My Little AB BABY is an Active Baby now He walks, bends while walking to pick up things, gets up I mean in standing position without support (18 July), rides his toy jeep on his own, tries to rotate the steering of it, runs away from me when i tell him to run, gets down from the bed at a drop of a hat, babbles a lot and has become little stubborn too. Actually he has learnt that if he will scream, shout or cry out loud things will get in his favour so that is the case you see.

One thing I have realized these days is that all of sudden... I mean since he has turned one year old I feel he has become more sensible and understand things well now.. he gives me a good ear too if I tell him or try to teach him something.

Last to last week Abeer got a Viral infection in which he was down with High Fever and Big Blister like rash around his Rectum... He was on oral antibiotics for the rash and Crocin and later Flexon for Fever... The fever for the first time reached upto 103degree which was quite scary for me and my husband.

MY Baby Turns ONE YEAR OLD

On 16th my little bundle of joy completed his first year... We threw a big party and celebrated it with pomp and show at Fresc Co a restaurant in CP New Delhi.

But my little wonder was not keeping well from the last saturday from his birthday... he was down with fever for 2 days and docter only kept him on crocin. His chest was creating a gurgling sound which i simply ignored thinking it to be some congestion in chest and started giving him bricnyl which we gave him last time he had congestion.

But all in vain he was quite and super low on his D Day... Very unlike my active and always smiling baby. So we took him to the Moolchand Emergency after his birthday party and doctor asked us to get him admitted in the ICU in some other hospital as they didn't have any bed...

We rushed to Max Hospital at Saket and there after a X ray and some check up from a pediatrician he was sent home around 3 in the night. The cause of all this was actually a Mucus formation in his tonsils... he was on heavy antibiotics and other medicines for a whole week. Today I am posting my blog after that one Bad week of my kid is over. The abnormalities that i will keep check for in future were he was not having water and food and was solely on my feed...

He now walks without support for little longer distances, gets down from the bed, and yesss smiles for the camera... as we say Smile he goes all cheese with a big fake Smile...

Another recent development is that as he has been on medicines for past week he is scared of having them and the moment we get the medicine bottle in front of him he starts running or shutting door if he is in a room... we just laugh at his stupid yet smart acts...

After one full year of motherhood and after seeing my kid grow from a tiny miny to a one who walks holding my hand... I can say that 'Being a Mother is the Best gift FROM GOD'

10 & 11 months - Almost a year

My bundle of joy is now 11 months old... and still doesn't walk independently... on 14th of May he first time walked holding my hand but after that day the lazy bum hangs with the support of my hand and is interested on crawling than walking however has been running if in a walker. He sat crossed legged on his own for the first time on the same day that is 14th of May...

On 19th of May he climbed my mom's house low height satee on his own. I feel he will climb up the steps of a stairs to but i have not tried it as yet as we live at top floor and don't have any stairs around that are safe for him to practice the skill. he now tries to imitate what we say... his recent words r dakun ( don't know wht it means) bakum bakum (again no idea ) daddy, papa, mimi and mumma... he has stared refusing for things by nodding his head and saying niiiiii and also points out at things he want. He always responds to my call no matter wht i call him Abeer, AP, Abiii, abuuu and he will say aien and will come to me from wherever he is:)

He knows now when am angry on him and comes to me too close to my face to cheer me up with a peck or a smile:)

Day before yesterday when we were in a market he saw a girl playing with a pink ball... and he just kept looking at the ball wherever it went... we got a clue that he wants it... so we bought him the same ball from the near buy store ( infact two of thm). First time he was so happy to get something... he held that ball in his hands and was not ready to leave it... he held it while we were buying things at shops, in the car close to his heart and also while climbing up the stairs... First time he showed so much of love and affection towards a toy... we simply enjoyed this act of his...

We also bought Abeer his first Mobile a Nokia Dummy it says "Its a Message - I love you "
